And boy are my arms tired.
Ok, technically, I didn’t fly, I rode in a car. And my arms are fine, but my ass hurts. Not that part of my ass…I wasn’t sitting on the gear shifter.
I had the pleasure of taking the 2-at-a-time Socks class with the author of the book by the same name, Melissa Morgan-Oakes. I went into this expecting to have a good time and possibly pick up a neat party trick. I came out of it thinking I just might have a new way to knit all socks from now on. Time will tell on that for sure.
I also learned that needle boxes make terriffic Twizzler holders – if you cut (or bite) the ends off first.
My travel companions and fellow pupils were my two best knitter friends (BKFs?) – the High Priestess of Socks and the funkiest knitter you could ever meet.
Before the night is over, I may dig my tailbone out with a butter knife. If that happens, I should be well enough to sit down and write a longer post in the next day or two.
Stay tuned.
Serena
P.S.
Jen, your socks are on the needles as I type this. I’ll send pictures so you can visit with them before I put them in the mail.

Hey, I’m so honored to be the funkiest knitter — that may well be the nicest compliment I’ve ever gotten that didn’t include a caveat!! Right back at ya, oh ye of the gutsiest knitter I know!
